Join the The Kids Research Institute Australia's Education & Outreach team for a Science & Sip Educators' Evening on Wednesday 3rd August, where you can try out an excursion program before planning a visit with your class.
This informal session is designed to familarise teachers and educators with The Kids' primary school excursion program and is suitable for those who are considering booking a class excursion to the Institute in the future.
Enjoy a tea/coffee on arrival, receive information about our Schools Program, explore our interactive Discovery Centre and meet a The Kids researcher who will guide you through one of our exciting experiments and a tour of our labs.
For this first Science & Sip session, we will take you through the activities involved in the excursion program Delicious DNA.
The session will comprise of:
- An introduction to The Kids and our Schools Program
- Information about how to arrange and best manage a class excursion to The Kids
- Information about our online educational resources to enhance your visit
- A walk-through of the hands-on experiment involved in the Delicious DNA program
- A guided tour of our world-class lab facilities
- Time to explore and experience our interactive Discovery Centre
- Opportunities to meet and speak to our Education & Outreach team, a The Kids researcher, and network with other attendees
