We are delighted to announce that on Monday 6th July 2020 at 9am the Discovery Centre will reopen its doors to the public!
Our Welcome Crew and volunteers are so excited to welcome you back to the Centre. They have certainly missed helping kids fight bad cells, solve medical mysteries, and discover the power of the human body.
If you are returning to the Centre, your visit will be somewhat different from before.
We have made some changes in response to the COVID-19 virus to keep everyone safe, including;
- We are limiting our capacity to 15 visitors
- We are ensuring there is always a staff member or volunteer in the Centre with visitors
- Hand sanitiser is available to all visitors, staff and volunteers
- Cleaning regimes have been increased, with games cleaned regularly
- Staff and volunteers have undergone hygiene training
- A COVID-19 safety plan has been implemented
We can also provide exclusive access and increased cleaning for people requiring this for health reasons – please contact our Discovery Centre team to book this.
The Discovery Centre is open every weekday (except public holidays) from 9am – 3pm. We hope to see you soon.
